Marmaduke Explained is, by far, my most favorite web comic on the internetz. It’s dry. It’s sarcastic. It’s absurd. It’s unassumingly brilliant. It’s nothing less than a physical manifestation of my inner soul on the internet.

Joe Mathlete’s Explanation: Marmaduke is yet again hanging out in the loading screen of the Matrix, which is about the last recurring motif I’d expect from a comic strip that for the most part never made it past the 1950s (but you do have to admit that the “lots of blank white space” aspect plays to the artist’s strengths). This time, Marmaduke is joined by his fat, elderly neighbor, and wouldn’t you know it ol’ Marmaduke is giving him the business, etc.
