Marmaduke Explained

Marmaduke Explained is, by far, my most favorite web comic on the internetz. It’s dry. It’s sarcastic. It’s absurd. It’s unassumingly brilliant. It’s nothing less than a physical manifestation of my inner soul on the internet.
Here’s the latest strip:

Joe Mathlete’s Explanation: Marmaduke’s bizarre, un-doglike predilection for hoarding objects he has no reason for possessing in the first place has lead his fat, elderly neighbors to suggest he watch a television show about hoarders (which I believe is called Hoarders). If I were a betting man, I’d wager that Marmaduke creator Brad Anderson’s fondness for portraying Marmaduke surrounded by piles of accumulated garbage perhaps betrays a similar compulsion of his own, but psychoanalyzing Mr. Anderson via his most famous creation would send me down a rabbit hole of sadomasochistic power/revenge fantasies I’d prefer not to explore if I can help it.
