This new international trailer for the RoboCop reboot takes a much more serious and epic tone than the two previous trailers that have been released. To be honest, this is the badass RoboCop I want to see and I hope it’s the one we get. Enjoy!

RoboCop – Official Trailer #2 – In Theaters 2/12/14:
In RoboCop, the year is 2028 and multinational conglomerate OmniCorp is at the center of robot technology. Overseas, their drones have been used by the military for years – and it’s meant billions for OmniCorp’s bottom line. Now OmniCorp wants to bring their controversial technology to the home front, and they see a golden opportunity to do it. When Alex Murphy (Joel Kinnaman) – a loving husband, father and good cop doing his best to stem the tide of crime and corruption in Detroit – is critically injured in the line of duty, OmniCorp sees their chance for a part-man, part-robot police officer. OmniCorp envisions a RoboCop in every city and even more billions for their shareholders, but they never counted on one thing: there is still a man inside the machine pursuing justice.

SlashFilm.com‘s Adam Quigley presents the argument that Sucker Punch is grossly misunderstood and the film has extensive depth and a very feminist message. While I can’t say that I liked the film, he makes a very interesting argument that’s most definitely worth considering. Enjoy.

While I’m sure you’re all extremely disappointed by set pictures that have surfaced on the internetz from the set of the Robocop remake showing a new and “improved” suit, it could be a lot worse. The new Robocop could be like the one from this 1980’s Nissin UFO Noodles Commercial. Note the artistic subtlety of it all. Specifically the addition of chopsticks where his gun should be. . . Enjoy?
