Friends! Check out the newest episode of my new show, This Week In Entertainment? with Brand Rackley. In this show I’ll give my favorite stories in the world of film and TV, but from the point of view of somebody who’s only read entertainment news headlines from Facebook and Twitter. This week I talk news on Neil Patrick Harris, Fury, X-Men: Days of Future Past, and Birdman! It was a major struggle for me to overcome a self-imposed hiatus and put this together this week, but I tried my damnedest to make it funny. I hope I succeeded and I hope you’re still trying your damnedest to stick with me and if you are, I really hope you’re liking them. Enjoy?

The man, the myth, the legend, THE Michael Keaton sits down with David Poland to discuss his role as Riggan Thompson in Alejandro Iñárritu‘s new film, Birdman, out this Friday in select cities. Enjoy!
DP/30: Birdman, Michael Keaton:
Here is the first official trailer for Alejandro González Iñárritu‘s newest film, Birdman (or the Unexpected Virtue of Ignorance), starring Michael Keaton. I recently had a chance to read an early draft of the script for the film and it was pretty amazing. The dark comedy is razor sharp and successfully lampoons the entertainment industry like no other film I’ve seen. Judging from the trailer you can also add eclectically beautiful to that list. It’s definitely a film you shouldn’t miss. Enjoy!
BIRDMAN or The Unexpected Virtue of Ignorance is a black comedy that tells the story of an actor (Michael Keaton) – famous for portraying an iconic superhero – as he struggles to mount a Broadway play. In the days leading up to opening night, he battles his ego and attempts to recover his family, his career, and himself.
BIRDMAN – Official Teaser:
This new international trailer for the RoboCop reboot takes a much more serious and epic tone than the two previous trailers that have been released. To be honest, this is the badass RoboCop I want to see and I hope it’s the one we get. Enjoy!
RoboCop-Official Trailer 3:
The remake for RoboCop now has a second trailer and it looks even more enticing than the first. The film stars Joel Kinnaman, Abbie Cornish, Gary Oldman, Michael Keaton, Samuel L. Jackson, Jackie Earle Haley, Michael K. Williams, Miguel Ferrer and Jay Baruchel. It hits theaters Feb. 7th, 2014. Enjoy!
RoboCop – Official Trailer #2 – In Theaters 2/12/14:
In RoboCop, the year is 2028 and multinational conglomerate OmniCorp is at the center of robot technology. Overseas, their drones have been used by the military for years – and it’s meant billions for OmniCorp’s bottom line. Now OmniCorp wants to bring their controversial technology to the home front, and they see a golden opportunity to do it. When Alex Murphy (Joel Kinnaman) – a loving husband, father and good cop doing his best to stem the tide of crime and corruption in Detroit – is critically injured in the line of duty, OmniCorp sees their chance for a part-man, part-robot police officer. OmniCorp envisions a RoboCop in every city and even more billions for their shareholders, but they never counted on one thing: there is still a man inside the machine pursuing justice.
The remake for RoboCop has a trailer and it looks pretty interesting. The film stars Joel Kinnaman, Abbie Cornish, Gary Oldman, Michael Keaton, Samuel L. Jackson, Jackie Earle Haley, Michael K. Williams, Miguel Ferrer and Jay Baruchel. It hits theaters Feb. 7th, 2014. Enjoy!
RoboCop (2014) – Trailer (HD):
In a crime-ridden city, a fatally wounded cop returns to the force as a powerful cyborg with submerged memories haunting him.
While I’m sure you’re all extremely disappointed by set pictures that have surfaced on the internetz from the set of the Robocop remake showing a new and “improved” suit, it could be a lot worse. The new Robocop could be like the one from this 1980’s Nissin UFO Noodles Commercial. Note the artistic subtlety of it all. Specifically the addition of chopsticks where his gun should be. . . Enjoy?
