Nightcrawler: Trailer

Check out the first official trailer for Nightcrawler, written and directed by screenwriter Dan Gilroy (The Fall, The Bourne Legacy) and starring Jake Gyllenhaal, Rene Russo and Bill Paxton. The filmI just got the script the other day, but unfortunately haven’t a chance to read it yet. If the feedback I received about it and this trailer are any indication of the quality, darkness and grit of this film, then I’m all fuckin’ in, folks! Are you? Enjoy!

Nightcrawler – Official Trailer:

NIGHTCRAWLER is a pulse-pounding thriller set in the nocturnal underbelly of contemporary Los Angeles. Jake Gyllenhaal stars as Lou Bloom, a driven young man desperate for work who discovers the high-speed world of L.A. crime journalism. Finding a group of freelance camera crews who film crashes, fires, murder and other mayhem, Lou muscles into the cut-throat, dangerous realm of nightcrawling — where each police siren wail equals a possible windfall and victims are converted into dollars and cents. Aided by Rene Russo as Nina, a veteran of the blood-sport that is local TV news, Lou thrives. In the breakneck, ceaseless search for footage, he becomes the star of his own story.

HBO: 1980’s Feature Presentation Intro

When I was six years old I would come home from kindergarten and watch a VHS recording of Batman from HBO every day. Needless to say watching this intro to what was the highlight of my day every day for probably more than a year gives me debilitating nostalgia and many great memories. Enjoy!

Boardwalk Empire: Season 4 Episode #2 Clip – Door to Door

Michael Shannon‘s Agent Nelson Van Alden aka George Mueller is back in tonight’s episode of the 4th season of Boardwalk Empire and I couldn’t be more excited. When last left Van Alden last season he was a door-to-door salesmen down on his luck, who quits his job and goes to work for Dean O’Banion. From the looks of this clips, it looks like he’s going door to door, but for a little more interesting and illegal purposes. Enjoy!
